Dear Prospective CALEP Member,

The time to join CALEP is now. Never before has the opportunity for such great potential ever arisen where you can be part of a professional identity as it is with CALEP. Consider yourself a colleague of not only a state association, but a worldwide association of Licensed Educational Psychologists. I ask you to pledge yourself to active membership and to show evidence why consumers should be protected by licensed practitioners of educational psychology.

Today is your day to shine by stepping forward and advocating for your profession. I know that many of you have taken the licensure exam and entered into the private world for personal and professional reasons. As a group, we hold the highest ethical standards in telling consumers the truth in providing scientific-based evidence.

We believe in strength in numbers, and are willing to share our insights as a professional community with our CALEP colleagues. We collaborate with other professionals who hold the same standards and mirror success and respect. I wish to strongly urge you to join the association at this critical time. Your voice is needed, and we wish to support you in building a successful and professional practice.
